Tour de Syracuse!

Tour de Syracuse is coming!

May 22nd (crit in onondaga park) & 23rd (time trial and road race down by song lake).

BTB / Mello Velo Race Team will be there! Will you??

Song Mountain Road Race Volunteer map! This is the course and where people should be.. click the map for the actual google map location, beneficial for if your racing or if you are interested in volunteering, contact the Onondaga Cycling Club dudes if that’s the case.

Ps. Party at BTB Headquarters after the Races on Sunday.

Testing stuff out!

Just finished up a ride with wes, with some gusts of wind you had to throw a shoulder into ’em just to stay up right, then it was most effective to yell at the gusts and ride harder so that you created your own direction of wind.

Anyhow, Wes and Bob are both entered into an experimental seat trial program where they are in pursuit of the perfect seats, Wes is currently experimenting with the fizik road seat while Bob is experimenting with some crazy split style seat. I suggested they post reviews about what they think of the different kinds, check back to see if there are any seat reviews in the next weeks here!

I was lovin’ the weather out there, playing with aerodynamics and such of some new to me gear.. out with the TT bike and an ol’ Louis Garneau Rocket hat.. Slightly disorienting as my ears couldn’t be used as easily for sonar locating but it sure is fun!

cyclin’ season.

As the weather has been gorgeous the past few days, BTB has been gettin’ out on the roads preparing for the coming cycling season.

As we posted in the past BTB cycling is in the process of starting a team, with title sponsor Mello Velo Bicycles along with Middle Ages Brewering Company.

Our buddy Brian put together these kit designs:

Also, tonight there will be a tempo run tonight by Manley Fieldhouse of Syracuse University if anyone is interested, part of the CNY Tri Club trainings.

The prints a new for the show in Pittsburgh this saturday at Mr. Smalls Theatre. See the rest of the beaks in form of the sneak peek.
